I'm No Chef... but I love food like it's nobody's business

When I was a little girl, I always thought, "when I grow up, I have to work really, really hard. That way, I can just hire someone to cook for me".

Kitchen and cooking were like rocket science. It used to be the scariest part of the grown up world that I never want to be involved in. I did not understand the fuss! "Somebody slaves for hours, worst even days, prepping for a dish that will be eaten in just mere minutes... lucky if it lasts an hour... where's the fun in that?! I always thought it's such a waste of anyone's time.

Fast forward to two decades... becoming a wife and mom. I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, cooking and baking

It's never too late to learn anything...
I learned how to figure skate and bowl in my late 20's
I just started cooking & baking and is learning how to play guitar and I'm now in my 30's
I'm still trying to learn how to speak Spanish and French... it comes and goes... I have no one to talk to...
I'm happily looking forward to my 40's

The kitchen has become my retreat, a calming place that centers me when everything around is in chaos.
It has become a source of a lot of smiles in my house and praises from my boys.

Seeing my love ones immersed in every morsel on their plate is so rewarding, I couldn't ask for more.
I hope my passion for food will trickle down to my grandkids and kids after them.
My kids? They're already with me in my journey. Kneading, stirring, mixing,,, of course eating!

Cooking is an art and I want to have my own masterpiece one day.
